Hands-on
Demonstration- (3-day)
For Owners, Engineers, Operators
and Maintenance Technicians
Intense course designed to allow the trainees to learn the
science of boilers and their applications. Provides an in
depth look into the boiler designs and the effects that these
characteristics have on day-to-day operations. Introduction
to some of the factors that affect sizing and efficiency of
boiler applications. Allows the trainee to gain proficiency
in flame controls and combustion tuning techniques including
understanding what Combustion Analyzer Readings mean. Explores
the boiler symptoms that are the most common lead into troubleshooting
methods and failure causes. Guide boiler contract personnel
in the care and feeding of your boiler and support equipment
ensuring that, “THE VALUE OF THE SERVICE MATCHES THE
COST.” The class is conducted with actual hands on sessions
following classroom exercises. The intention is to “PUT
THEORY INTO PRACTICE.”
Final Objective: Trainees will
have the necessary skills to successfully maintain the boiler
and its support equipment during all phases of operation from
the engineering selection to the final maintenance evolutions.
The primary emphasis is to allow the trainee to avoid the
most common pitfalls in the boiler plant.
