Tools and Equipment
Course covers use and safe operation of hand tools. Other
equipment currently used in the woodworking trade such as
dado heads, table saw, jointer, router, band saw, router table,
shaper, and lathe are also discussed. Tool assembly and setup
of tools utilized during training are covered and proper tool
and equipment maintenance is also included.
Project Finishing
Course covers selection of an appropriate stain or paint,
techniques for their application, furniture oil, lacquer,
polyurethane, and water based finishes.
